Industrial Maintenance Engineer

Tech Castings is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team

Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance:
    • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
    • Inspect equipment for potential problems and identify necessary repairs.
    • Lubricate machinery, adjust components, and replace worn parts.
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair:
    • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify the root cause of issues.
    • Perform repairs on faulty equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
    • Order and install replacement parts when necessary.
    • Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Project Work:
    • Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
    • Participate in plant improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Safety:
    • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
    • Identify and report potential safety hazards.
    • Participate in safety training programs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
