One of our client is a leading mortgage lending company dedicated to providing exceptional financial services to our clients. We specialize in offering a range of mortgage products tailored to meet the diverse needs of homebuyers. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Loan Processor.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. The Loan Officer will play a crucial role in assisting clients through the mortgage process, from application to closing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial concepts, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their homeownership goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their financial goals, assess their eligibility for various loan products, and provide personalized guidance throughout the mortgage application process.
  • Collect and analyze financial information, including credit reports, income documentation, and asset statements, to determine the most suitable loan options for clients.
  • Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner..
  • Collaborate with underwriters to address any additional documentation or information needed to secure loan approval.
  • Educate clients on the terms and conditions of their loan agreements, including interest rates, repayment schedules, and closing costs, to ensure a clear understanding of their financial obligations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals to generate referrals and foster repeat business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to loan volume, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in mortgage lending or loan processing highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with mortgage loan origination software (LOS) and automated underwriting systems (AUS), such as Encompass or Calyx Point, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
