Position Description
Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, the QMHP-C will provide direct care services to children and adolescents in the home. The QMHP-C will implement a service plan, which provides structure, support, and services to youth at risk. These services are provided in accordance with agency policies. All Applicants will obtain certification of CPR, First Aid, and agency approved behavior management technique within the first month of employment and maintained thereafter. In addition, the position requires that all applicants possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements. Applicant must have successful CPS and background check clearance, including no history of DUI violations. Applicant must provide results from TB screening.
Position Qualifications
The QMPH-C shall have a bachelor’s degree the in human services or related field, a minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families. Applicant must demonstrate an ability to work with diverse Consumers, exercise discretion, maintain client confidentiality, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. In addition, the applicant shall meet QMHP-C status as established by state regulations with knowledge of human behavior and development, family dynamics and related treatment modalities, interventions and techniques.
