Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Family Care Consultant at Memory Matters in the Hilton Head Island, SC office. As a Family Care Consultant, you will provide support and guidance to families of individuals with memory disorders. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, coordinating resources, and providing education and counseling to families. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals and their families.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with memory disorders and their families
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide supportive counseling and guidance
  • Empathy and understanding for the needs of individuals and families
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Title: Family Care Consultant

Position Location: Hilton Head Island, SC

Full-time: Exempt 37 + hours a week.

Reports To: Program Director

Employees working 37 hours per week or more are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, vision, flex accounts, short and long-term disability, life insurance, long-term care insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and multiple annual holidays.
