Role & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Motors Controls Engineer, you'll lead the technical development of control software for power electronics, electric machines, and drives. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing technical leadership in PEMD Controls

- Developing control algorithms and specifications

- Testing control software through various methods

- Supporting the wider PEMD engineering team

- Directly interfacing with clients on technical matters

- Ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget

Required Qualifications & Experience:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

- A degree in Engineering, Control, Electrical, Electronics, or similar field

- Proficiency in model-based development languages, especially Matlab-Simulink

- Strong understanding of motor control theory and practice

- Experience in developing control systems for power electronics

- Excellent communication skills in English

Desirable Skills:

While not mandatory, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

- Familiarity with Infineon AURIX microcontrollers

- Proficiency in C programming

- Knowledge of AUTOSAR

- Understanding of functional safety standards such as ISO26262
