Quality Control Engineer
Fort Wayne IN
Contract - 1st shift, Std
Hours: 7am - 3 pm
Pay Rate:$38.90/Hr.
Benefits: overtime, medical, dental, vision, 401k

REQUIREMENTS:Quality Control Engineer
  • US Citizenship
  • Degree is highly recommended.
  • Previous Manufacturing or Quality experience with shelf-life process material.
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid Manufacturing process knowledge / experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are critical to interact and communicate with other people effectively.
  • Being detail-oriented is an important to swiftly and accurately identify any potential quality concerns with a product.
  • Critical thinking: A quality engineer needs to have the ability to analyze and evaluate information, data, and situations logically and objectively.
  • Teamwork: A quality engineer needs to be able to work well with others, collaborate, and share ideas and feedback Drive for Continuous improvement,
  • Previous Manufacturing or Quality experience with shelf-life process material Solid Manufacturing process knowledge / experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:Quality Control EngineerThis role will be responsible for mapping the existing process for recertifying and extending shelf life of process material, developing, and implementing a standard process for recertifying and extending shelf life of process materials.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Quality Control Engineer
  • Degree in a Technical field is highly recommended with 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous Manufacturing or Quality experience with shelf-life process material.
  • Understanding of the different types of process material and the life cycle of shelf life for process material.
  • Formal qualification to be related to field of work.
  • Quality control methods, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Root cause and corrective action tools.
  • Process mapping.
