We are seeking a LEAD Registered Behavior Technician, FLOATER, and RBT's to join our team You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual or group setting and Leads will focus on training and floaters focus on covering sessions and indirect work. 

Responsibilities:

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a crucial role in providing direct behavioral therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Here’s a typical job description for an RBT:

Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and assist in collecting data for individuals with autism or other behavioral disorders. The RBT focuses on providing direct therapy to clients, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Therapy Plans: Deliver ABA therapy as outlined by the BCBA, including implementing behavior intervention plans, teaching new skills, and managing challenging behaviors.
  • Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client progress, behavior, and skill acquisition. Use data to track client progress and inform treatment adjustments.
  • Client Interaction: Build rapport and maintain a positive therapeutic relationship with clients. Provide support and encouragement to help clients achieve their individual goals.
  • Behavior Management: Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors in a constructive and effective manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the supervising BCBA. Provide feedback and updates on client progress and any concerns.
  • Training and Supervision: Participate in ongoing training and supervision sessions with the BCBA to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, client progress, and any incidents that occur during therapy.
  • Ethical Standards: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and the employing organization.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Must hold a valid RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). If you don't currently have one, we can help 
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is beneficial but not always required. On-the-job training is often provided.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and a patient and empathetic approach to working with clients.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to engage in physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Capability to respond to clients’ physical and emotional needs as required.

Work Environment:

  • Work may take place in a variety of settings, including clients’ homes, schools, or therapy centers.
  • The role may require flexibility in hours and availability, including evenings or weekends, depending on client needs.
