Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, and develop employees
  • Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
  • Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching as needed
  • Provide friendly and accurate service; and ensure the rest of the team does as well
  • Accurately check out customers in an efficient but also timely manner
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
  • Ensure appropriate inventory counting and management is in place and followed
  • Safely and effectively lift, transport, and handle heavy and/or bulky items such as large appliances

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a willingness and ability to learn new concepts, processes, and procedures
  • Open to feedback and constructive criticism, and able to adapt and improve based on the guidance provided
  • Possesses the ability to grasp and absorb new information rapidly
  • Can effectively analyze situations and problem-solve
  • Proficient in utilizing various technological tools and platforms to enhance work efficiency and productivity. Comfortable working with software applications, internet-based resources, and digital devices.
  • Capable of safely and effectively lifting, transporting, and handling heavy and/or bulky items such as large appliances. Familiar with proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent injury and minimize property damage.
  • Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
  • Ability to manage a clean and customer-focused store
  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
