Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant with great people skills, sales experience, high energy, a positive attitude, and excellent work ethic. Previous apartment leasing work experience and fair housing certification for the state of Arizona is required. Qualified candidates are also bilingual in English and Spanish.

Our Leasing Consultant will work as part of a team under the direction of the Property Manager, to lease units and provide customer assistance to both current and prospective residents. This individual must relate well to people, exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with residents, vendors, and co-workers, and be able to de-escalate a situation.

Responsibilities:

· Showing available apartment vacant and model units

· Taking telephone inquiries

· Greeting future residents & completing guest cards for follow-up

· Taking applications and deposits, verifying all information to be accurate

· Follow-up of prospects and current residents' needs

· Posting and monitoring ads and other marketing materials

· Assisting the Property Manager in maintaining all aspects of property operation


Qualifications:
At least 6 months to 1 year or prior experience working in residential property management as a Leasing Consultant, bilingual in English and Spanish required, and the following skills are preferred:

· Strong sales skills & closing ratio

· Customer service

· Previous onsite apartment leasing experience

· Yardi, CRM, and Appfolio software experience strongly preferred

· Work well under pressure

· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of individuals at all organizational levels
