Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in daily Gemba Walks throughout production floor and ensure quality issues have been identified and addressed.
  • Analyze defective parts and/or processes to determine root cause of defect and implement corrective/preventive actions to prevent future failures.
  • Manage tracking and reporting of warranty and quality issues throughout the facility.
  • Assign CAPA’s for warranty and quality issues, train team members on appropriate problem-solving techniques, and verify implementation.
  • Applies statistical analysis and concepts to the manufacturing process.
  • Develop control plans, work instructions and determines measuring equipment for new product implementation/manufacturing.
  • Perform Product and Process audits determine the processes are good and are being followed.
  • Support analyzing warranty parts to determine the root cause of defect and provide solutions for corrective/preventive actions to prevent future failures

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following: Metal Fabrication, Machining, Coating or Assembly
  • Knowledge and practical application of lean manufacturing principles and tools
