We are expanding and seeking a Mental Health Counselor (Contract Position) to provide outpatient mental health counseling services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide recurrent, outpatient mental health therapy services involving evidenced-based modalities and therapeutic interventions appropriate to clients' needs, goals and diagnoses.
  • Complete diagnostic evaluations and treatment recommendations that effectively address client's needs and treatment goals.
  • Facilitate ongoing, collaborate and open-dialogue with clients on therapeutic progress toward treatment goals.
  • Establish and maintain positive, professional and confidential therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Provide accurate, timely and confidential client records.
  • Collaborate with other service providers and agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be fully licensed as an LPC, LISW-CP or LMFT in SC
  • Previous experience of at least (1) year in Mental Health Counseling preferred.
  • Credentialing provided by LifeCare with BCBS, Optum/UHC, Cigna and Aetna.
  • Proficient in evidenced-based counseling approaches, techniques and interventions.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate, timely and confidential client records and documentation.
