Job description

Job Summary:

The Billing Specialist will generate invoices for completed service work orders for work performed by our Service Technicians and will send the invoices to the customer utilizing the customer’s preferred method of receipt or B2B portal.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review & approve service technicians’ paperwork and time sheets
  • Generate accurate invoices in a timely manner.
  • Conduct calculations based on technician’s travel and hours worked to ensure proper pay and billing.
  • Conduct audits to ensure accuracy per clients criteria.
  • Work with other billing team members to meet billing deadlines.
  • Communicate with service dispatchers and other departments to answer questions or concerns.
  • Scan & file invoices and paperwork electronically.
  • Always provide premier customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and customer requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and pdf editor
  • Must have strong math skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiently use billing software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree (A.A.) from two-year College or university; OR High school diploma/GED and two years training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
