DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •   The ability to multitask and be highly organized is essential. You will work closely with senior project members, assisting in various tasks to ensure the project runs smoothly.
  • Have knowledge and understand how the project is being led from initial concept through to final execution, maintaining a high standard of quality and adherence to project timelines.
  • The ability to sketch schematic plans/millwork/details using AutoCAD.
  • The ability to produce 3D modeling in Sketch up if needed.
  • Provide excellent presentation skills
  • Maintain project binders with all related contacts, schedules, specs, drawings, etc.
  • Strong experience with interior finishes such as tile, stone, wood, kitchen, and bath design is highly advantageous. Selecting and procuring FF&E, developing FF&E schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to acquire cost estimates for project budgeting, conduct basic quantity assessments, and perform comparisons.
  • Create and maintain basic schedules, budget spreadsheets, proposals, and purchase orders.
  • Review contractor/vendor documents with precise tracking and installation scheduling.
  • Facilitate client meetings and compile meeting summaries for distribution and task assignments.
  • Proficiency in reviewing shop drawings and submittals
  • Collaborate with principal, clients, contractors, and team members to ensure cohesive and effective project delivery.
  • Software proficiency required: AutoCAD, Sketch up, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office 365.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicants should possess 2-5 years of relevant professional experience within the United States.
  • Applicants should hold at least a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in commercial and high-end residential/ hospitality design.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • You must live in FL and can reliably and regularly commute to the office for this in-person M-F position.
  • Must be a US green card holder or US citizen and currently living in FL
