JOB TITLE: Dining Room Maître d’

DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: F&B Director, Beverage & Service Manager, and Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Maître D’ is responsible for coordinating and managing all reservations, walk-ins, dining room and PDR seating's, guest assistance and the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant as well as providing the host team with directives throughout the shift.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Organize greeting, seating and exiting of all guests using a professional demeanor.

· Organize all reservations and guests using the most effective guest and restaurant conscious procedures.

· Professionally and effectively communicate with guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain guest relationships to promote repeat business.
Implement quick and efficient decisions based on guest and/or restaurant needs.

· Provide the highest quality service to Members.

· Awareness of Member needs, reservation needs, and restaurant needs.

· Maintain integrity of service

· All other duties as assigned.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.

· Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.

· Continuous repetitive motions.

· Work in cold or hot, humid and noisy environment.

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICAITONS:

· Must be 18 years of age.

· John Creeks alcohol Pouring Permit required.

· TIPS Alcohol Certification. - will supply application upon employment

· A minimum of 1 to 3 years of high-profile service operation working in Ala Carte service.
