Fabrication Shop Woodworker

Job description:
Our commercial metalworking/woodworking shop designs and prefabricates architectural components and structures, predominately for exterior use. We work with Aluminum, Carbon/Corten/Stainless Steel, in combination with many different domestic and exotic hardwoods, fiberglass, fiberglass, epoxies and concrete.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experienced fulltime woodworker, who has a background in a shop environment
  • Must be familiar with typical shop equipment such as saws, planers, CNC and hand routers, shapers, sanders and the full array of power/hand tools.
  • Safety conscious and have the ability to construct projects alone or as part of a team.
  • Vast majority of our products are installed by separate construction crews. Occasionally, on the more complex projects, shop personnel may be required to assist on site.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate and Contribute to Twin’s initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with external clients and associates on a consistent basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with experience.
