Job Description:

As an OTR CDL Class A Driver at Absolute Logistic Solutions, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the country. This position requires long-haul trips, often spanning multiple states, and involves extended periods away from home. We value our drivers and ensure they have the support and resources needed to perform their job efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (Class A) in compliance with all DOT and company regulations.
  • Transport goods and materials over long distances, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and readiness.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and records of cargo, mileage, and hours of service.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Handle and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.
  • Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise on the road.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of OTR driving experience.
  • Clean driving record with no recent major violations or accidents.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle long hours and extended periods away from home.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
