**This is a Field Service position where you would travel to a client site Monday-Thursday***

Schedule:

  • 50-60 hours per week (due to compensation for travel time)
  • Approximately 60% travel per year on average
  • Home every Thursday-Friday for the weekend
  • Typically depart on Monday and return on Thursday

Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities on various equipment and systems at customer sites.
  • Utilize strong electrical knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in equipment and systems.
  • Apply HVAC knowledge to troubleshoot and address heating, ventilation, and air conditioning problems encountered during service calls.
  • Utilize mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and repair pumps, mechanical components, and instrumentation.
  • Present oneself professionally and effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs, explain service procedures, and provide solutions.
  • Adhere to travel schedules, ensuring timely departure and return from customer sites while maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Complete service reports, documentation, and other administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing field service duties.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to optimize service delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Must-Haves:

  • Strong background in troubleshooting and maintenance across multiple disciplines.
  • Proficient in electrical knowledge and capable of effectively troubleshooting electrical systems and components.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC systems and experienced in HVAC troubleshooting.
  • Mechanical expertise including familiarity with pumps, mechanical components, and instrumentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present well to customers and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, with flexibility in scheduling and availability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic field service environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems.
  • Previous experience in field service or related technical roles.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to field service activities.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
