Direct Hire Position:

Position Summary: Responsible for processing all payrolls (hourly, salaried, manager and Japanese), including initiating and maintaining garnishments and child supports for all associate payrolls, special payroll runs, administering the company STAR (Suggestions, Teams, Activities and Recognition) Program, HR Associate Assistance and New Hire Orientation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain payroll and associate records including the set-up of new associate records and input the required data into ADP and HRMS database systems
- Process hourly, salaried and Manager payroll weekly and Japanese Expatriate payroll monthly using ADP software. This includes maintaining and processing fringe benefit and gross-up calculations as required.
- Input pay, employment tax deductions, and all associate information and changes into HRIS system.
- Work with ADP to ensure taxes are correct, paid timely and any issues or errors are resolved. Payroll taxes are flied and paid through ADP.
- Timely reconciliation of Year End Associate Tax documents.
- Process all garnishments and child supports for all payrolls (hourly and salaried) on a weekly basis. Payment are process through ADP, the payroll provider.
- Reconcile and prepare payments for YMCA and United Way through company Accounts Payable.
- Run payroll reports and audit payrolls to ensure associates are paid correctly.
- Keep on-site cafe POS associate information updated.
- Administer and update STAR Program which includes Quality Detection program, and associate involvement activities
- Determine and process monthly Associate Length of Service Awards.
- Oversee and track the Kaizen g program per program guidelines, including recording, tracking, administering meetings and paying out the Kaizens.
- Conduct new hire associate orientation and on-boarding.
- Process payroll related inquiries and verifications etc.
- Serve as back-up for Time and Attendance Specialist position.
- Assist other HR Administrator in the administration of FMLA and other HR related duties as needed.
- Assist with associate HR inquires.
- Plan and lead special associate events.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Education. College degree highly desired.
- Minimum five years related HR and Payroll experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office computer software, HRIS systems. Previous experience with ADP software. Advanced Excel experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communications and problem solving skills.
- Must maintain highest level of confidentiality.
