Job DescriptionJob Description

Now hiring a Production Lead for a manufacturing company in Cincinnati for 1st and 3rd shifts.


1st shift: 6:30am – 4pm.

3rd shift: 8pm – 6:30am.

Weekly pay ranging between $22 - $24 per hour, depending on experience.


The Production Lead is responsible for coordinating assembly and manufacturing activities as well as training existent and new employees. They are responsible for the safety of workers and will monitor production schedules to ensure daily goals are met.


Job Duties:

  • Coordinate production schedules with team members and assign shift times to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Direct production, processing, distribution, and marketing activities.
  • Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory.
  • Train new hires, including completing onboarding, and show them job expectations.
  • Provide coaching as needed to correct issues, sometimes including discharge of staff.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on system efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the production process and implement solutions.
  • Troubleshoot any machine issues and schedule maintenance as needed.


Requirements:

  • Previous Forklift experience is required.
  • Previous CNC Machine experience is required.
  • Previous experience as a Supervisor or Lead is preferred.
