SUMMARY: The Facilities Specialist will assist the Facilities Manager with all facets of facilities, including receiving and distributing supplies, building and grounds maintenance and building systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs a variety of routine building and landscape maintenance duties, such as checking filters, cleaning light fixtures, minor building repairs, picking up trash, assisting with shoveling and plowing, washing windows, painting, and spot cleaning carpet and furniture
  • Processes US Mail daily
  • Responsible for the purchase, pickup, receiving and delivery of supplies
  • Logs and delivers FedEx and UPS packages
  • Maintains Facilities electronic building systems and security
  • Maintains non-IT office equipment inventory
  • Responds to help desk tickets timely and completely
  • Leads the setup and cleanup of special events and activities
  • Assists with facilities projects
  • Other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience Required: Entry-level
  • Experience Preferred: One (1) year of facilities or maintenance experience
  • Other Required: Valid Driver’s License in the State of Illinois or Wisconsin
