Talento Search Group has an opening for a Field Service Technician in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $28-$29 per hour, depending on experience. This is a 1st shift position with a schedule from Monday-Friday, plus some Saturdays and overtime. This position will require travel and overnight stays.
Position Summary:
Provide customer support in person and by phone.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and timely phone support.
Setup, install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites within the assigned region.
Maintain customer and unit history on the CRM database.
Determines labor and spare parts required on-site repairs.
Makes recommendations for parts replacement as a preventative measure.
Prioritizes open cases and machine repairs accordingly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Needed:
Minimum of 3 years experience with skills in customer service, training, installing and repairing various models of industrial micro-processor controlled equipment
MS-Office and general personal computer knowledge
Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and drawing.
Good oral and written communication skills
Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing units to ensure the work is accurate and complete.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience reading and interpreting schematics
