Job DescriptionJob Description

We're looking for a Parts Manager for our store in San Marcos, CA. The Parts Manager is responsible for meeting the established goals for profit and return on investment on parts inventory through wholesale and retail sale of parts. Accomplishes objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff management, security, pricing, marketing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising of parts inventory.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for leading a profitable Parts Department, through successful staff management, processing of invoices, processing orders, and overall industry best practice in execution of operations.
  • Responsible for growing Parts Department and overall Sales through increased marketing of Parts, Customer Service and add-on sales.
  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department including required inventory, pricing, ROI and profit margins

Competencies

  • Ability to manage, including disciplining and terminating personnel as required to meet departmental and organizational goals
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and read Financial Statements
