REPORTS TO: Controller
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No
JOB LOCATION: Johnson City, TN
TRAVEL: 0-5%
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account reconciliations
- Financial analyses for Controller
- Data entry for commissions
- Weekly reconciliation of cash flow report
- sales tax filing
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Month-end review of certain financial accounts for accuracy
- Various reconciliations and support for the accountant
- On-boarding for new employees, including benefits orientation
- Tracking sick/vacation leave accounts
- Take on projects and other tasks as assigned
- Processing semi-monthly payroll
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- An associate’s degree in accounting . In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of office, accounting, or HR experience
- Must be skilled in the use of Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred
- Strong level of organization with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have excellent work habits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively handle a variety of responsibilities
- Ability to think critically to bring efficiency to processes.
