Job Description:
Primary Job Duties:
- Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies
- Calculating payments for hearing devices and procedures
- Maintaining billing and reports via an electronic medical record system
- Preparing and sending bills and invoices to patients for medical procedures and equipment
- Coordinating payment and insurance claims with clients and communicating with clients by phone, email, or written communication
- Assisting with validation and enrollment in insurance reimbursement
- Preparing purchase documents for clients
Requirements:
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
- Understanding of billing software and electronic medical records
- Ability to work collaboratively with other office personnel and audiologist
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities
