CAD Drafter Landscape $30-40/hour

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Drafter to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience as a CAD Drafter within the landscaping or construction industry. The Drafter will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and plans that translate design concepts into actionable blueprints for construction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to understand project requirements, objectives, and design intent.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed drawings, including site plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Interpret and translate conceptual designs into practical and feasible construction documents while adhering to project specifications and timelines.
- Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists, schedules, and specifications.
- Coordinate with project teams to facilitate seamless communication and workflow throughout the design and construction process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in landscape design and drafting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in drafting, architecture, landscape architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience working as a Drafter, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards related to landscape architecture and construction.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation in design.
