Mobile Heavy Diesel and Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel and Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy, medium and light duty diesel and gas equipment, vehicles at customer locations. Everything from small engines to vocational trucks.

Responsibilities:

* Perform preventitive maintenance inspections, and repairs on a variety of trucks and equipment.

* Diagnose equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.

* Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.

* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

* Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

* Provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.

* In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and heavy equipment components.

* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent time management and organizational skills.

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

* Willingness to travel to customer locations. (Work truck provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

*verified in field experience

* Experience with specific equipment types (e.g., excavators, skid steers, stump grinders, man lifts.)

Must have your own basic set of tools.
