Summary: The Junior Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in creating visual designs that communicate our Brand to both buyers and consumers. This role will be to report and work closely with the Brands Manager and together will support the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, be highly organized, and be able to take directives and execute accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Schedule and coordinate design projects from start to finish with the Brand Manager and Outside vendors.

· Design Graphic materials for both print and digital, such as sell sheets, flyers, banners, business cards, packaging, retail POS, PowerPoint presentations and slide shows for tablets.

· Develop digital assets such as web banners, website imagery, social media graphics, email blast.

· Support Brands Manager on all kinds of Graphic Design projects, art file editing and maintenance, basic product photography and editing in photoshop.

· Ensure Art files are error-free, and all marketing collaterals are consistent and according to brand guidelines.

· Create engaging visual designs that excellently communicate our brand.

· Follow and maintain brand identity and design consistency across all visuals.

· Assist with Food label creation, editing and file maintenance using Photoshop and Bartender.

· Willing to train qualified candidates on Food Labeling

· Perform other administrative duties such as ordering supplies, creating mockups, sample room organization and tradeshow preparation.

· Maintain a safe, organized and clean workspace.

· Must be able to lift 10-30 lbs.

Qualifications and Skills required:

· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

· Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power point and Planner

· Knowledge in other Adobe Design Software a plus

· Knowledge in Food Packaging Design and Retail POS a plus

· A strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

· Willingness to follow guidelines and instructions.

· Ability to understand and execute directives

· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Basic knowledge of email blast and social media a plus

· Understands how ideas translate into different types of media and the difference between a good idea and tactics

· Strong desire to learn new tools and technologies.

· Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well as part of a team.

· Mid-Level 2-3 years Graphic Design experience

  • No supervision responsibilities

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design

Physical Demands and work environment:

  • Frequent use of fingers and hands

  • Frequent seating
  • Occasionally walk, bend, and slouch
  • Occasionally lift to 25 lbs.
  • Clear vision and hearing
  • Frequent use of personal mobile phone for business related matters
