Velocity Community Credit Union is looking for a Consumer Loan Processor to join our team.

Responsibilities of a Consumer Loan Processor:

  • Verify that loans close in accordance to the loan underwriters approval criteria. Prepare final documents for funding, ensuring that all documents are complete and accurate. Process GAP, credit insurance and warranty paperwork, as needed..
  • Provide support to the sales team with the processing of a loan application from initial submission to loan funding. Communicate with member(s) to ensure that all required documentation and information is gathered and documented (i.e. VOI, VOE, payoffs, bill of sale, etc.). Establish and schedule loan closings in a timely fashion. Deliver a firm closing for C,D & E paper.
  • Obtain signatures and disburse the funds for approved loans utilizing technology and remote methods as often as possible. Ensures that loan records and applicable supporting documentation are archived accurately.
  • Look to improve processing efficiency and make recommendations. Provide an exceptional service experience at every point of contact. Identify other sales opportunities and make referrals to appropriate area.

Requirements of a Consumer Loan Processor:

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, competitive call center environment, and meet goals and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Must possess minimum typing skills of 40 WPM.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products, internet research and various other online applications
