We are looking for a 1st shift and 2nd shift Material Handler to join our team in Mishawaka, Indiana

Job Description: The Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to pulling and verifying materials and supplies on production orders. They maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering supplies/components to assembly lines. Material Handlers perform manual and clerical duties related to incoming materials and supplies. Material Handlers also keep loading areas and machinery clean.

Requirements:

• ·       Delivers WIP (Work in Process) material to assembly lines to support the assembly process.
• ·       Organizing and monitoring inventory while documenting any stock, material, or order movements.
• ·       Loading and unloading packages.
• ·       Analyzing production orders to ensure the proper amounts and materials are brought to production.
• ·       Examines incoming materials for damage or shortages and corresponds with area lead to rectify.
• ·       Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.
• ·       Determines method of replenishment utilizing knowledge of procedures and routes
• ·       Preparing materials from storage to assembly line.
• ·       Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, part carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
• ·       Utilizing material handling equipment such as a hand carts or forklifts
• ·       Oral and written communication skills.
• ·       Time management and organizational skills to keep track of inter-department deliveries and stay on schedule.
• ·       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• ·       Attention to detail.
• ·       Ability to understand and follow directions.
• ·       Clerical skills and basic computer skills.
• ·       Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• ·       Physical stamina.
• ·       High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ·       Experience using hand scanner guns with pick locations.
• ·       Experience in a self-directed role.
• ·       Performs work under minimal supervision.
• ·       Experience transacting out of an ERP system.
