Job Summary: As a Car Lot BDC Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential car buyers. Your primary responsibility is to engage with customers, build rapport, and set appointments for them to visit our dealership. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping customers find their ideal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:

    • Greet and assist customers who visit the car lot.
    • Initiate conversations, answer questions, and provide information about available vehicles.
    • Gather customer contact information and preferences.
  2. Appointment Setting:

    • Schedule appointments for customers to meet with our sales team.
    • Follow up with leads via phone, email, or text to confirm appointments.
    • Maintain a detailed record of customer interactions and appointments.
  3. Product Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about the features, specifications, and pricing of our inventory.
    • Be prepared to discuss vehicle options and benefits with customers.
  4. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with sales representatives to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Provide feedback to the sales team based on customer interactions.
  5. Customer Satisfaction:

    • Ensure customers leave with a positive impression of our dealership.
    • Address any concerns or issues with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for helping people.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales-related role is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive terminology is advantageous.
