ACCOUNTING POSITION and OFFICE ASSISTANT
SUMMARY
We are a busy 3PL Warehousing Company seeking a prospective e full-time employee to work in our office. This person will have verifiable experience working in a fast-paced office environment, will need to manage multiple tasks at a time and must focus on details. Prospective employee experiences should include direct contact with their customer base via telephone and email, be adept using the Microsoft Excel program and its functions with a high-level of proficiency, familiar with a warehouse management system, typing, and 10 key. Applicants must have a positive “Can-Do” attitude and be able to cooperate and communicate with numerous employees from management to warehouse floor level. Prior food-grade warehouse experience a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Must have verifiable experience.
3. Current valid state issued ID or driver’s license.
4. Social Security card.
5. Agree to a criminal background check and E-Verify.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accounts Receivable – Record and keep sales records, customer payments, account balances, and collections for all accounts.
2. Accounts Payable – Record vendor’s bills, process checks and reconcile bank accounts.
3. Help analyze and correct financial statements and balance sheets for all end of the month procedures, including pre-paid and accruals.
4. Input and process trucking invoices bi-weekly. Keep track of balance and collections for this account.
5. Keep track of all permits for two companies and renew when necessary and on time.
6. Help with any other tasks necessary to keep company compliant in all fields including U.S. Customs.
