If you want to work in a relaxed climate-controlled environment where you can listen to your own music or podcasts while you work, then this is the job for you. We are needing someone who cares about getting the details right for this assembler job. you will be trained and learn on the job.
Hourly Rate: $16.25/hour
Schedule: Can either work 7:30-4:00 Monday through Friday or 6am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday.
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Here is what you will do as an Assembler:
- Repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and or mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies.
- Utilize written instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams during the production process.
- Use knowledge of cable and wire termination and crimping specifications for both semi-automatic and manual crimping tools, and in the use of other hand and power tools for the assembly process.
This could be the job for you if you have (minimum requirements):
· A minimum of 12 months of recent assembly experience
· Pass color blind test
· Pass ruler test
· Must be able to stand for shift
It’s a plus if you have:
· Electronic assembly experience, specifically with wire harnesses
Background Checks:
All candidates considered for the position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
