A final test technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of power electronic equipment. Details about this role:


  • Responsibilities:
    • Analyze and Troubleshoot: Final Test Technicians are responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting various systems and equipment. They use their on-the-job training to identify issues.
    • Ready Made Testing Equipment:  Final Test Technicians utilize the ready-made testing stations that Phase Technologies has put into place.  They may also work with the R&D Department to perform maintenance tasks, repair malfunctions, and upgrade equipment to keep it running smoothly.
    • Quality Assurance: While Final Test Technicians are not quality inspectors, they ensure products meet quality standards by conducting thorough tests.
    • Documentation: They prepare and maintain test reports, documenting their findings and any necessary adjustments made during testing.
    • Final Step in the Process:  Final Test Technicians are the final step before our power electronic equipment is shipped out the door.


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Technical Requirements:
    • Education: A degree in a related field is preferred.
    • Experience: A minimum of 1 years of experience in a final test technician role is preferred, but not necessary.
    • Test Equipment Proficiency: Familiarity with using various test equipment or comfort using testing equipment.
    • Safety Knowledge: Understanding safety procedures in a laboratory environment.
    • Electrical Safety: Knowledge of regular electric safety.
  • Required Soft Skills
    • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for accurate testing and troubleshooting
    • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical issues effectively.
    • Communication: Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and customers
    • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


PAY


Pay starts at $19/hr+ DOE
