About the Position:

The Precision Farming Specialist retails, installs, educates, consults, and supports customers providing value through the technology of precision farming products and services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Highly align with our company Mission and Core Values. 
  • Meet with customers to promote Precision Ag Technology products and services.
  • Consult, recommend, sell, deliver, and install new precision farming products and services.
  • Provide support for software and hardware on agriculture equipment’s electronic monitoring and application systems.
  • Assist sales with precision farming grower meetings and sales calls.
  • Conduct product meetings, demonstrations, and equipment deliveries with customers and sales personnel.
  • Stay current on features, benefits, and value of new technologies in order to make informed recommendations.
  • Provide education and training to dealership staff regarding Precision Ag Technology’s agronomic advantages.
  • Provide support to internal and external customers on Precision Ag hardware.

 

Qualifications or Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Agricultural Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Precision Ag hardware installation and sales.
  • Working knowledge of farm products and practices, diagnostic and servicing procedures, and GPS/GIS software.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Passion for the evolving technology of Precision Agriculture.
