Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking a full-time, local Chemical Tank Shuttle driver moving trailers around on the yard, staging them in tank wash bays, run trailers across the street to our other location, and run wastewater from tank wash to treatment facility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to regularly climb up into and down out of tractors and tank trailers.
  • Must be able to raise and lower trailer landing gear by operating hand crank mechanisms in all types of weather conditions; fastening chains or binders to secure loads on trailers during transit
  • Must be able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop and squat as well as grip, and lift seventy-five (75) lbs. to the waist and forty-two (42) lbs. overhead if necessary during the loading or unloading process
  • Must be able to walk, bend, reach push, pull and climb, as necessary, to perform vehicle inspections required by FMCSR Section 396.13

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum two years chemical tanker experience
  • Have a Class A CDL, X endorsement, TWIC card
  • Be able to pass a road test, drug screen, physical, background check
  • No more than two moving violations in the past three years
  • No violation of running a stop sign or traffic light in the last three year
