Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Head Cashier to join our team at our popular Itallian Trattoria . As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests, taking orders and handling payment transactions with ease
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including food preparation and presentation
- Upsell menu items and suggest complementary items to enhance the dining experience
- Manage tables and ensure timely service, while also maintaining a clean and organized dining area
- Demonstrate strong time management skills, prioritizing tasks and working efficiently during peak hours
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling guest requests and resolving any issues promptly

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a retail, quick service, or fast food restaurant
- Proficiency with POS system and basic math skills
- Ability to prepare and serve food and beverages with precision
- Strong sales skills and an understanding of the importance of upselling
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with food preparation and presentation techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Restaurant experience is preferred
