Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a strong Leasing Consultant to join our team in Gainesville, FL The leasing consultant will work with the Property Manager to provide great customer service, e-meet with prospects and conduct tours, execute leasing paperwork/contracts, and follow-up with leads to generate traffic to the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage prospects and relay pertinent information about amenities
  • Take diligent notes and record specific details about prospects' needs and wants for their future home
  • Report to Property Manager with updates and list of duties to be completed
  • Stay up-to-date on *special offers* - may change daily
  • Research surrounding area to adequately communicate benefits to living in the area
  • Administrative tasks where needed

Qualifications:

  • ***Leasing experience required***
  • ***Tax credit experience preferred***
  • Ability to build rapport, qualify prospects, and close leases
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
