JOB Summary

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of construction workers for new home construction in the Baltimore area.

General Accountabilities

  • Examine and inspect work progress, on construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
  • Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
  • Manage the delivery of materials or worker requirements to complete jobs.
  • Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction workers and laborers.
  • Confer with managerial personnel and contractors to resolve problems and to coordinate jobsite production.
  • Coordinate schedules with other active construction projects.
  • Order/schedule materials and supplies.
  • Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on Daily Activity Logs.
  • Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
