ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
  • Prepare and posting of journal entries.
  • Calculate monthly expense report accruals.
  • Maintains property tax records, including valuation, tax rate and estimated payments. Accrues monthly property tax expense.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of various general ledger accounts as required by the Manager, Finance and Administration and Accounting Lead.
  • Support Account Receivable collection, reconciliation, and verification.
  • Assist in compiling audit work papers.
  • Prepare information as needed for forecasting Cash Flow and Revenue.
  • Prepare functional reports for internal and external usage.
  • Work with external auditors, tax advisors and other consultants on an as-needed basis.
  • Assists Accounts Payable department on an as needed basis.
  • Assist with special projects, workflow process and system improvements as necessary.
  • Other reports and analysis as directed by Accounting Supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and market information.

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Accounting
  • 0-2 years’ experience within accounting function role or similar experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must possess experience with and be able to use Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
