Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Recordkeeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Record day-to-day financial transactions in the general ledger.
  2. Financial Statements:
    • Prepare financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
    • Ensure statements are in compliance with accounting standards.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.
    • Contribute to forecasting processes to support financial planning.
  4. Accounts Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
    • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  5. Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  6. Audit Support:
    • Assist in internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
  • Previous experience in accounting or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with multi-restaurant operations and industry-specific regulations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial and holds significant value but not required.
