What does this role entail, you ask?
  1. Walk dogs: Exercise? Check. Mental stimulation? Check. Dog walker extraordinaire? That's you
  2. Feed pets: Food is the way to a pet's heart, and we need someone to keep their bellies full and happy.
  3. Secure homes: We're all about safety. You'll be ensuring our clients' homes remain secure while on duty.
  4. Communicate effectively: Our clients love pup-dates about their furry friends, and who better to provide them than you?
In terms of basics, here are a few must-haves:
  • A 6-month commitment minimum. We're looking for the real deal.
  • Live in the immediate downtown Houston area. Or close enough to be able to respond to a bark in distress.
  • Your own car – because even dog walkers need wheels. And yup, you're going to be navigating through good ol' Houston traffic. Think of it as an adventure, with a fur-friend waiting at the end
  • Physical fitness – because this job involves more walking than a charity walkathon.
  • Excellent communication skills – to ensure our clients stay informed and you stay part of our pack
  • A big heart for pets. We're talking unadulterated, wagging-tail, slobbery-kiss kind of love.
Our hours:

- Monday to Sunday, from the chirping birds at 6 am to the night owls at 9 pm.
- Busiest times are from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday, with a sprinkle of evening and weekend visits.
- Holidays tend to see a surge in demand for evening and weekend visits. Extra holiday cookies, anyone?
