Our quickly growing practice is looking for experienced veterinary technician to join our family. We are looking for a candidate that is able to multi-task, is hard-working, has a friendly and helpful attitude, and has the ability to thrive in a team setting.
Lakeside Animal Hospital is a long-established and well-respected veterinary practice with great staff and clients. Our focus is on quality animal medicine and client education. We pride ourselves on being AAHA-accredited.
The successful candidate for this position most importantly must have at least 2 years of experience in an animal hospital as a veterinary technician/ veterinary nurse/ veterinary assistant.
Veterinary candidates should also possess the following skills:
- We are looking for a veterinary technician/ veterinary nurse/ veterinary assistant to join our family who can multi-task, is hard-working, has a friendly and helpful attitude, and has the ability to thrive in a team setting.
- IV catheter placement on pets
- Drawing blood from multiple sites on a patient
- Comfortable safely handling dogs and cats
- Performing digital radiographs on pets
- Anesthesia monitoring of pets during surgical procedures
- Demonstrate attention to detail for patient care
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and communication
- The ability to provide and implement attentive, exceptional client service
- Dental prophylaxis knowledge is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
- Certified / Licensed Veterinary Technicians are a plus
- Proficient in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
