We are actively looking for an experienced General Manager for our Entertainment Center in Jackson.

JOB SUMMARY

The General Manager is responsible for all facets of the operation and responsible for the long-term planning to ensure the continued growth and success of the business. Required competencies include, but are not limited to, meeting financial objectives; controlling purchases and inventory; maintaining operations to company standards; ensuring Guest satisfaction; establishing and accomplishing human resource objectives; maintaining a safe and secure facility and a healthy work environment. The right candidate must be a professional leader who has the desire to successfully run, grow and develop the business, as well as effectively manage, coach, motivate, develop and direct their Team of nearly (20) Team Members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Improve the sales, profitability, and performance of the business year over year
    • Compliance with all operating and quality standards.
    • Ensures a Guest relations and recovery program.
    • Compliance with all operating and cost control tools.
    • Creates/approves all weekly sales projections and Team Member schedules.
  • Maintain the Team Member development cycle: Hiring quality staff, ensuring effective training, testing, and certification of Team Members with timely and thorough Team Member performance appraisals.
  • Ensure a harassment-free work environment. Also, facilitate a safe and confidential reporting process.
  • Maintain facility appearance and structure to company standards.
  • Make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
  • Receive successful results on secret shopper scores.
  • Build and leverage strong, lasting relationships with people inside and outside of the business.
  • Hold yourself and others accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely results.
  • Spearhead annual budgeting of capital expenditures and business planning process.
  • Be responsive and empathetic to Guest needs. Maintain Guest focus while driving improvement and innovation.
  • Professionally represent the company at all times.
  • Skillfully analyze and summarize information for budgeting revenues and expenses.
  • Develop, write, and implement policies for effective and efficient business operations.
  • Establish financial goals and manage budgets to maximize profit.
  • Operate the facility and address safety/security concerns as necessary.
    • Serve Safe Food Program compliance.
    • Posting of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

JOB ACTIVITIES:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the venue
  • Development of management staff through delegation, training, and follow-up.
  • Facilitate management meetings, ensure transitional meetings are completed, and ensure labor goals for each shift.
  • Proactively manage all activities that affect the revenue, COGS, and Guest experience
  • Ensure the daily non-negotiable tasks are being completed consistently and correctly.
  • Manages all line items above EBITDAR on the P&L and ensures compliance with all cost control systems.
  • Ensures problem resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Leads Guest recovery program.
  • Assists on the floor when and where necessary to ensure a positive Guest experience.
  • Interacts with Guests and ensures our exceptional service standards are met.
  • Maintains a harassment-free work environment.

SALARY:

60-70k (FINAL SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
