Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and therapeutic objectives.
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals and monitor progress towards achieving them.
- Offer support and guidance to clients in developing coping strategies and improving problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive and integrated services for clients.
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards governing the practice of therapy, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting clients' autonomy.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering collaboration and teamwork among colleagues
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Colorado.
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic alliances with clients.
- Proficiency in using fundamental computer skills and computer software for documentation and record-keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Adept problem solving in a professional capacity.
Preferred
- Two years of experience, post independent licensure, in a mental health or out-patient therapist role.
