Staff Pharmacist - Outpatient (Travel/Local)

Location: Peridot, AZ
Type: Travel/Local Assignment
Duration: 13+ weeks
Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per shift (8 AM - 5 PM)

Position Overview:

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team for a travel or local assignment in Peridot, AZ. This role involves managing outpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring the highest quality of service, and driving continuous improvement within the department.

Essential Functions:

  1. Administrative Oversight: Manage daily operations to ensure top-tier service quality, adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
  2. Quality Improvement: Develop and implement outcome measures and tracking systems to enhance operational and financial efficiency, aligning efforts with organization-wide Quality Improvement initiatives.
  3. Policy Leadership: Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
  4. Process Improvement: Continuously assess program effectiveness and spearhead process improvement initiatives.
  5. Staff Development: Provide feedback and utilize HR policies to support staff development, ensuring maintenance of performance standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred; 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years of management experience is desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred, including completion of a 1-year residency.
  • Licensing: Must hold a current and active unrestricted Pharmacy license. Arizona state license preferred.
  • Certifications: AHA/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
