Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform USCAR21 Crimp Validation Tests: Engage in sample preparation, terminal crimp cross-section analysis, pull force testing, resistance measurements, and high current temperature rise tests.
  • Operate Advanced Equipment: Utilize temperature humidity chambers, thermal shock chambers, diamond wheel cutters, polishing/grinding machines, push-pull testers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
  • Participate in Department Activities: Contribute to equipment calibration, work instruction development, and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen).
  • Maintain Documentation: Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of test data.
  • Work Independently and as a Team: Meet individual task targets while collaborating with team members to share equipment.
  • Promote Safety: Maintain a safe work environment and practice good housekeeping at all times.

Job Requirements:

  • Support Crimp Validation Activities: Assist within the Testing & Validation department.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Training will be provided.
