Jing-Jin Electric North America LLC is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Powertrain Engineer to lead the development of our electric beam axle technology.


The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the mechanical development of the electric beam axle, including axle and component design, testing, and validation. This role will also involve interfacing with OEM customers and Tier-2 suppliers to provide high-quality, responsive service and effective management/coordination.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electric beam axle mechanical parts, including tubes, shafts, CV joints, seals, and steering knuckles.
  • Lead and coordinate DFMEA/PFMEA activities for eBeam mechanical parts.
  • Validate eBeam mechanical parts and assembly based on industry best practices.
  • Interface with OEM customers to provide technical and field support, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and teardown assessments to support testing, validation, and quality.
  • Support manufacturing and supply chain development, including engineering interface with sub-suppliers and sourcing processes.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of automotive engineering experience, with a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and 3D/2D drawing.
  • Proficient in APQP process, methodology, and standard.
  • Strong experience in Beam Axle development, validation, and supply chain, with knowledge of North America component supply chain in this field.
  • Familiar with testing/validation/DVP&R standards and failure modes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining, and assembly) and quality management.
  • Hands-on skills in beam axle teardown, assembly, and testing.
  • NVH knowledge preferred, with knowledge of e-motor/inverter/gearbox desirable.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
