Staff Accountant / Full Charge Bookkeeper

The staff accountant is responsible for working directly with multiple firm clients performing daily accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and other general accounting functions. The responsibilities include but not limited to:

· reconcile bank accounts and credit cards

· prepare journal entries

· review general ledger accounts for input accuracy

· prepare and/or review expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure

· prepare monthly financial statements and reports

· perform other duties as may be requested

· 3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience

· QuickBooks Online Certified

· Must be proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

· Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Highly organized with the ability to multitask.

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment.

· Must be personable and comfortable communicating with business owners.

Experience level:

  • 3 years

Education:

· Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a plus but we value professional experience as well

Experience:

  • QuickBooks Online: 3 years (Required)
  • Professional Accounting: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Destin/Ft Walton, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
