Job Description:
Will assist in the inspection of many different parts throughout the day. This individual will be responsible to measure a large variety of parts to ensure that they are within specifications between processes and upon completion. He/she needs to have strong math and analytical skills, know how to read and decipher blue prints, and know how to use basic measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, protractor, etc.) at a minimum. Must have attention to detail and a willingness to learn how to use more complex measuring devices. We offer medical, dental, and vision. We also offer employer matched 401K, paid holidays, PTO, weekly attendance bonus, yearly production bonus, a floating holiday, and a boot allowance. Wage is based on experience. We currently have a $1,000 sign on bonus for new employees.
Job Duties:
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Inspect manufactured products including: machined components, laser cut parts, and weldments.
- Good communication skills.
- Work in conjunction with CPI’s quality management team as well as direct operation management.
- Fill out necessary inspection documents to ensure quality is met.
- Understanding of use of measuring tools including deciding proper measurement tool selection.
- Basic knowledge of quality management software is a plus.
