Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and staining tissue samples for microscopic examination.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and stain tissue samples for microscopic examination
  • Operate microtomes and other laboratory equipment
  • Conduct quality control checks on tissue samples
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Histology Technician
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ASCP- HT/HTL certification
  • Bachelor of science in medical technology, biology, chemistry, or HTL certification
  • Histotechnician AAS NY State license
